Any child of gays has been denied his or her fundamental right, recognized under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (which >190 countries including the US has signed), to know and be raised by his or her mother and father. Does Vermont allow for a constitutional amendment via vote by the people, like California does? The vast majority is against gay marriage.
