Indeed, genetic sexual attraction is a far more prevalent problem that most adoption professionals would even admit, and we do all of our clients a disservice when we shirk our responsibility to alert them to it. This news story was exploited by media sources, but it seems that there is much more to the tale than is yet publicly known. It should, however, stand as a precautionary tale to all about the potential damages of secrecy and closed adoptions!
