Hi, I just wanted to say thank you so much for being understanding. When my half brother whom I'd never met before contacted me VIA social networking a few years back, I thought he was attractive before I even read his message. But it got worse when we started talking more, much worse, and so far nothing has been mutually shared or expressed, but I can't help wondering if he has feelings too. It's making me very scared to meet him in person, especially with the conditions of our fathers death and what it has done to the family. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you for taking the time to consider that there may have been something more to this story than the vile attack that the media headlines suggested. Indeed, genetic sexual attraction is a far more prevalent problem that most adoption professionals would even admit, and we do all of our clients a disservice when we shirk our responsibility to alert them to it. This news story was exploited by media sources, but it seems that there is much more to the tale than is yet publicly known. It should, however, stand as a precautionary tale to all about the potential damages of secrecy and closed adoptions!

I am in Australia and am in a gsa relationship with my father. We were charged with incest in 2008 and had much media attention. I am more than willing to talk openly to any lawyers, counsellors or those who find themselves in gsa relationships.
