The popular blog, Teens Today with Vanessa Van Petten, took the time (along with help from interns) to compile a list of the most useful blogs, podcasts, books, websites and tools for divorced parents and families. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health along with the LGBT Aging Project and Ethos will be launching bereavement support groups all over Massachusetts starting this month. The project consists of 6 free LGBT Bereavement Support Groups in different parts of the Commonwealth. Each group will run for 6 consecutive weeks and will be led by a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in bereavement issues in the LGBT community.
The Boston and Worcester group will be launched first followed by Cambridge, South Shore, Northampton and Cape Cod.
The Worcester group will meet Tuesday evenings starting October 21, 2008.
The Boston group will meet Wednesday evenings starting October 22, 2008.
Both groups will run from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
